Best App To Connect via SSH from Your Smartphone

#1

Introduction:
If you have a new Server Hosting  and you want to connect to it via your Smart phone you are in the right topic..
We know that putty program, which is one of the most famous program that connects to the SSH protocol or telnet protocol in the computer What about the phone ..?!

  • The best application I recommend is   JuiceSSH   but why ?
. First is a very simple and user-friendly application that does not require experience
. Easy access, transfer and paste
. It has many useful features that help speed up tasks.. and more

App download link from  Google store: juicessh

Note: There are other applications I do not mention here because they are not in the required level of JuiceSSH

Any question in the comment below..

JuiceSSH is indeed a very nice SSH client for Android devices. I have the pro version and it totally rocks. Absolutely worth it.

WOW! I'd think an android phone would be the last device I'd use to connect with SSH. I'd think one has to be a really experienced android user and have the right security and resources with the phone to think of using SSH. For me an Android phone is a "no no" for safe and secure SSH unless you're an out and out computer specialist who know your android and phone system inside out. I personally would never use an Android phone to access my VPS or any of my Forums remotely, particularly the Forums where I'm staff at.

You know, sometimes you need to connect to your server quickly, and at work port 22 is forbidden, and even you put the ssh port on 443, you need to pass through the proxy, and one more time, it's forbiden. So it's a good way to do some actions on your server.

But, I confirm, juiceSsh is the best one...

I guess there's a very good reason port 22 is forbidden at work. Wink

I personally would never use SSH at work or on a phone at work. I also won't access admin panels of forums from work or a public WiFi. I know one is highly tempted - but for me it's not completely secure and since the Forums don't belong to me I'd hate to put my higher level of access at risk in any way.  It's just something I feel very strongly about.

I use JuiceSSH too, and also ConnectBot on my Android.. I mainly use JuiceSSH for some commands if I need to, and ConnectBot for some shortcut tasks (eg restart Apache) directly from my homescreen.
