eu.org free domain names
#51
A .com domain is really cheap I could get it with around 10$ per year, so I would suggest getting a legit domain if your looking for serious opportunities. If you can make up enough audience you would have enough income to pay for your domain subscriptions. I normally use .tk and other free domains for development purposes.

You can go to GoDaddy and get one for $0.99 for the first year.  Use coupon code CJC99ZCOM1 at checkout.  Smile

I don't think its legit. . I prefer you to buy at GoDaddy or BigRock. As I always say, those who spend is the boss. When you pay, you have the higher hand. So, Go for a paid domain registrar isntead. Its your choice.

I received 2 eu.org domains in April. That was after one month and a week from requesting those. Also rather than using eu.org, I ask for 2 domains from net.eu.org. I think they have become picky about their main sub domain. You will have a better chance if you request a sub domain of that one.

@IEpicDestroyer : Godaddy do offer extremely cheap domain registrations but their .com renewal price is about $14. So they kinda of cover what they loose from that offer with high renewal price.

@Sagher

They maintain a small and simple text based web site with all information and links about their service. The client panel is more advanced and has more features but is also kept simple and small as a pure text online site. Everything works perfect though. Sure the lack of a real design makes the page look dull but it works for its own purpose perfectly. No whistles and thrills - pure information and functionallity for a free service.

They do rely on sponsorships and similar. So hiring a developer who would make a new site is out of the scope. By the looks of it no one wants to help them with that though. So they keep the original site since 1998. At that time web design fairly simple. A lot of sites looked similar just with some whist!es like colors and jpeg images. Internet was slow... can't afford to run a fully blown page like today as it would load forever with 56k modem stuff.

I got all my domains within less than 24 hours so far. And all that despite the site being so simple.
