Hello John32. ---- Ankon, if you need DDOS protection you probably don't need a free vps. I doubt any provider would be willing to tank a ddos for very long for you.

I believe they do, just that we don't usually advertise it

One question. Do the VPSs being provided have DDOS protection?

Can I have a fresh installation of CentOS 7 on my VPS.

And yes, I know that.

Of course if it crashes you cannot but here is where the loop starts again > You will have to contact staff and you will have to wait. That's how it is with VPSs without a control panel.

Additionally: there are a few things you can do yourself such as use the command "passwd" to change passwords, or the command "reboot" to reboot the VPS.

You have been asked the same thing over and over now and that still is the answer.

I will say a last thing that I've repeated here a few times already in answers to your questions: You will have to contact staff and you will have to wait. That's how it is with VPSs without a control panel.

Yes i do. Incase of a crash or malfuntion, we won't have access to a control panel to restart things. At least think before assuming or writing stuff in the shoutbox. Moreover as far as i believe, i originally wanted to talk to staff members over things like the control panel. I don't think you are either.

@Ankon Come on... you don't even know how to shutdown/reboot a Linux system? :| Whatever...
19 Apr 00:03

by the way, the VPS's os defaults to CentOS 6, let me know if you want that changed.

@abdulsami was supposed to acquire reseller panels for these so we can give you a control panel but that hasn't been done yet.
18 Apr 10:42

You issue a reboot command over ssh.

And how do we start the VPS or even stop it and turn it on? All through the staff?
